Architecture and Engineering Occupations drive auto industry hiring activity
Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Architecture and Engineering Occupations, which accounted for 12% of the total new job postings in Q4 2023 and were down by 77% year-on-year. Second highest were Office and Administrative Support Occupations, which accounted for 11% and drop by 39% year-on-year, and third highest were Business and Financial Operations Occupations, which were 60% of the new job postings and 44% lower year-on-year.
Top five companies in auto industry accounted for 47% of hiring activity
The highest number of jobs were posted by Nissan Motor with 414, followed by Continental with 376, while the highest increase was at Forvia at 27%.
