Computer and Mathematical Occupations drive auto industry hiring activity
Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Computer and Mathematical Occupations, which accounted for 19% of the total new job postings in Q4 2023 and were down by 30% year-on-year. Second highest were Management Occupations, which accounted for 17% and drop by 12% year-on-year, and third highest were Architecture and Engineering Occupations, which were 35% of the new job postings and 1% lower year-on-year.
Top five companies in auto industry accounted for 49% of hiring activity
The highest number of jobs were posted by Mahindra & Mahindra with 1,066, followed by Tata Motors with 674, while the highest increase was at Hero MotoCorp at 13%.
