BYD has launched its Seal model in Nepal.
It is in collaboration with its local authorised distributor Cimex Inc. Pvt Ltd.
The car will be available in three versions (Dynamic, Premium, and Performance) and four standard colours.
The EV maker says this is the third pure electric passenger vehicle BYD launched in Nepal, after the BYD Atto 3 and the BYD Dolphin.
In 2018, BYD’s e6 model was incorporated into the Nepalese presidential fleet, with entry into the passenger market in 2022.
The local government is currently implementing various measures to promote electric vehicles, leveraging the country’s abundant hydropower resources.
