The Ocean, which was publicly presented in prototype form in January 2020, won’t be in production until the fourth quarter of 2022. The electric SUV will be built in Austria by Magna Steyr.

Having been revealed at a special event in October, the L460 series Range Rover made its motor show and public premiere.
Porsche
The 718 Cayman GT4 RS was one of multiple world debuts. This has a CFRP bonnet and front wings, thinner glass and carpet, straps instead of internal door handles and vents instead of rear side windows. As for the engine, this is a 4.0-litre flat six which revs to 9,000 rpm and has outputs of 368 kW (500 PS) and 449 Nm (331 lb ft). The transmission is a seven-speed PDK. There’s a racing version too, the 718 GT4 RS Clubsport.
The other premieres were the Taycan GTS plus a third body style for Porsche’s EV. Called Taycan Sport Turismo, this is the Cross Turismo with a lower stance and no plastic cladding around the wheel arches. The new estate also comes as a GTS. Power is 400 kW (598 PS) and the ‘Performance Battery Plus’ has a capacity of 93.4 kWh.
As well as the Forester Wilderness, the LA show saw the public premiere of a new WRX along with the Solterra, the company’s first electric SUV.

The Vietnamese OEM brought the VF e35 (Model Y rival) and VF e36 (larger and more angular to the show, each being an electric SUV.
